Amy’s Kitchen Honored as a ‘Best Place to Work’ by San Francisco Business Times

Amy’s Kitchen, a leading organic and natural food company, has been recognized as a 2023 Best Places to Work honoree by the San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal. The company was ranked 10th out of over 100 companies in its category and was the only food company to receive this recognition. Paul Schiefer, President of Amy’s Kitchen, expressed his appreciation for the honor, stating that the company prioritizes actively listening to its employees to foster an inclusive culture that aligns with its values.

The selection process for the award is based on employee surveys, with participation requirements, and the rankings are determined by an overall employee engagement score. Amy’s Kitchen was noted for its supportive work environment and commitment to treating employees with kindness. Goretti Hamlin, Chief People Officer of Amy’s Kitchen, shared that nearly 90% of the employees feel valued for their efforts, and the company is continually striving to improve.

Established in 1987, Amy’s Kitchen is a Certified B Corporation® that offers over 135 varieties of organic frozen and packaged foods, including options for gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, lactose-free, soy-free, tree nut-free, corn-free, Kosher D, Kosher DE, and light in sodium categories. I am a conscientious, open-minded, adaptable to new experiences, and ambitious Business Development Manager with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics - Banking, Finance, and Accountancy. Through my studies, I've also obtained many naturopathic and nutrition degrees as well. Part-time jobs have added marketing, network marketing, event management, and store management skills to my experience throughout my career. Throughout my career, I have also been a Hotel Manager and owned a Bar/Restaurant & Internet Cafe. My online marketing and social media interactivity experience was gained when I and my husband started a business with an online/organic webshop & healthy lifestyle consultancy. Animal lover and capable of helping others without judgment or negative reactions, this is thanked my knowledge in holistic therapies and the naturopathy courses I've followed. I cannot leave for my spiritual growth and the continuous development in alternative and holistic therapies, so I'm learning at Kyron School of New Consciousness, receiving a Bio Energo-therapist diploma. Thanks to all my experiences I've decided to venture into publishing and writing, while also continuing to learn many new things daily.
