Ranveer Singh receives ‘Pride Actor of the Year’ for Padmaavat
The 3rd edition of IDEASFEST 2018 was a unique and special event in itself with many crème de la crème industry stalwarts gracing the event. This occasion did not only see some stellar talk sessions and the deserving nominations take away the trophies, but it also endorsed the theme of IDEASFEST 2018 ‘Lead the Change’.
World’s leading brand equity research and consulting firm WCRCINT released the ‘Annual Research Report 2018’ on India’s Best Brands, Leaders and Celebrities. The evening glittered with all the industry stalwarts, who synchronically, with one accord celebrated the most trusted CEOs, Brand of the Year and celebrities who are leading the change. The conclave kicked off with an expert discussion on ‘Technology and Social Media – Looking at the nature of responsibility in turbulent times’. Ranveer Singh happily accepting the Pride Actor of the Year for one of his greatest roles played onscreen as Khilaji in Padmaavat, said “I thank my director Mr. Sanjay Leela Bhansali for convincing me to take up this challenge and bring out the best in me. I hope to continue to take on such interesting challenges and entertaining you all.”
