Avocado Green Gives Back: 1% of Revenue Donated to Women’s Earth Alliance

Avocado Green, the beloved Certified B Corp Best for the Worldā„¢ company known for its organic and eco-luxury products, has announced an exciting partnership. During Avocado’s Summer Sale and beyond, 1% of all revenue will be donated to Women’s Earth Alliance (WEA), a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women-led grassroots climate solutions worldwide.

WEA supports women in driving lasting change in their communities by providing them with leadership training, strategy development, and technical resources for their climate and environmental initiatives. With a global alliance of peers, mentors, and funders, WEA helps women scale their projects and make a significant impact.

Avocado’s Sr. Manager of Engagement and Social Responsibility, Christine Carpio, expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “We’re inspired by the work of Women’s Earth Alliance and proud to support their essential mission. Our partnership aligns perfectly as both Avocado and WEA are committed to combating the climate crisis through meaningful action.”

As a Climate Neutral certified brand and a Best for the Worldā„¢ B Corp, Avocado actively reduces its carbon footprint, offsets all emissions, and advocates for legislation addressing the climate crisis.

Amira Diamond, Co-Director, and Co-Founder of WEA acknowledged Avocado’s dedication, saying, “Avocado Green not only creates eco-products but invests in Women’s Earth Alliance to drive ground-up climate solutions. We applaud the integrity of this visionary company, and through our partnership, we will uplift over 9,000 women-led environmental projects in 9 countries this summer.”

In line with Avocado’s commitment to 1% For the Planet, 1% of revenue from the Summer Sale and ongoing will be donated to WEA. Customers can enjoy substantial savings on Avocado’s renowned mattresses, adjustable bases, pillows, bed frames, and more during the sale, which runs from June 6 to June 19.

Avocado’s journey began with a vision for a greener, more affordable, and more comfortable mattress. I am a conscientious, open-minded, adaptable to new experiences, and ambitious Business Development Manager with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics - Banking, Finance, and Accountancy. Through my studies, I've also obtained many naturopathic and nutrition degrees as well. Part-time jobs have added marketing, network marketing, event management, and store management skills to my experience throughout my career. Throughout my career, I have also been a Hotel Manager and owned a Bar/Restaurant & Internet Cafe. My online marketing and social media interactivity experience was gained when I and my husband started a business with an online/organic webshop & healthy lifestyle consultancy. I've improved my English at Cambridge Academy of English - 2003, in Cambridge. I live a conscious lifestyle, and try to protect the ecosystem. Animal lover and capable of helping others without judgment or negative reactions, this is thanked my knowledge in holistic therapies and the naturopathy courses I've followed. I cannot leave for my spiritual growth and the continuous development in alternative and holistic therapies, so I'm learning at Kyron School of New Consciousness, receiving a Bio Energo-therapist diploma. Thanks to all my experiences I've decided to venture into publishing and writing, while also continuing to learn many new things daily.
