Ben & Jerry’s is making sustainability even cooler by launching new all-electric scoop trucks – and they’ll be serving up vegan and non-dairy flavors along the way! 🚛💚
Built in partnership with Rivian, these fully electric Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Trucks will debut at South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, before traveling the country to bring plant-based, planet-friendly treats to fans nationwide.
Why It Matters
🌱 Vegan & Non-Dairy Options: Ben & Jerry’s commitment to inclusivity means these trucks will offer their delicious dairy-free flavors, made with high-quality plant-based ingredients.
⚡ Sustainability at Its Core: Running on 100% electric power, these trucks align with the brand’s mission to reduce its environmental footprint while keeping ice cream lovers happy.
🚀 Taking the Movement on the Road: After SXSW, the trucks will travel across the U.S., stopping at key events, including in Ben & Jerry’s home state of Vermont.
“Working with Rivian, an industry leader committed to sustainability, is an ice cream dream come true,” said Sean Slattery, US Integrated Marketing Project Lead at Ben & Jerry’s.
As one of the few mainstream brands consistently expanding its vegan dessert options, Ben & Jerry’s continues to prove that indulgence and sustainability go hand in hand.
