Anheuser-Busch Sales of Oklahoma, in collaboration with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and Uber, is launching a comprehensive campaign to encourage sports fans to “Decide to Ride” by planning ahead for sober transportation on game days. With the new partnership, Anheuser-Busch is reinforcing its commitment to promoting responsible drinking and road safety during sporting events.
To support this initiative, Anheuser-Busch Sales of Oklahoma is sponsoring free Uber rides up to $20 on game days during September and October. The promotion is available to fans aged 21 and over attending games for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Oklahoma City Energy FC, and other major sporting events in the state.
Tracy Darr, Director of Wholesaler Sales for Anheuser-Busch Sales of Oklahoma, stated, “We want fans to enjoy the game and celebrate responsibly. By offering free Uber rides on game days, we’re making it easier for fans to plan ahead and choose a safe ride home.”
Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is joining forces with Anheuser-Busch Sales of Oklahoma and Uber to raise awareness about the dangers of drunk driving. MADD’s mission is to eliminate drunk driving, support victims of this violent crime, and prevent underage drinking. With their combined efforts, they aim to reduce alcohol-related incidents and ensure that fans arrive home safely after attending sporting events.
Uber, the leading ride-sharing platform, is supporting this initiative by providing a convenient and accessible option for fans to secure a sober ride home. By partnering with Anheuser-Busch Sales of Oklahoma and MADD, Uber is reinforcing its commitment to responsible transportation.
Tracy Darr added, “We are proud to partner with MADD and Uber to promote responsible drinking and safe transportation. We encourage all fans to decide to ride and plan ahead for a sober ride home on game days.”
The “Decide to Ride” campaign will be featured at various stadiums, arenas, and venues across Oklahoma, with a focus on educating fans about the importance of responsible drinking and the availability of free Uber rides. The campaign is part of Anheuser-Busch’s ongoing commitment to road safety and promoting responsible alcohol consumption.
