GLOSSLAB, the nail studio operator with a membership-based model, is embarking on an expansion journey with plans to open 45 franchise locations in collaboration with Joshua Coba, the co-founder of European Wax Center. Coba has secured the exclusive area representative rights for South Florida. Currently, out of the 45 planned locations, three are already operational, and seven more are in the construction phase, with an expected opening date in early 2024.
Coba, who is also overseeing GLOSSLAB’s franchise development on a national scale and the growth of their proprietary product line, brings a successful track record of transforming businesses in the beauty and wellness industry. This new partnership underscores his commitment to innovation and advancement within the sector. In addition to GLOSSLAB, Coba boasts a portfolio of thriving ventures, establishing him as a prominent figure in the beauty and wellness domain.
Expressing his enthusiasm for this expansion, Coba stated, “Through this acquisition, our goal is to make GLOSSLAB’s renowned services accessible to even more people while upholding the brand’s high-quality standards. South Florida presents the perfect opportunity to expand the brand in this manner.”
Rachel Apfel Glass, founder of GLOSSLAB, praised Coba as a valued partner and expressed excitement about their ongoing expansion in South Florida.
