Clean Juice®, the pioneering USDA-certified organic juice and food bar franchise, is excited to introduce its latest franchisee, Fareed Ahmed, who has opened his first store in Roseville, California, just north of Sacramento, the state’s capital. Situated at 4191 Thrive Drive, the new Clean Juice store neighbors a highly successful Jersey Mike’s Subs. The grand opening of Ahmed’s Clean Juice took place on Friday, August 25, marking the beginning of a week-long celebration that will introduce the community to the brand’s popular, all-organic offerings, including fresh and bottled juices, smoothies, wraps, salads, acai bowls, and more, starting tomorrow, September 9.
Ahmed’s journey into franchising had its share of challenges, as he previously invested in an LA-based burger franchise that later became embroiled in the largest franchise scam in California’s history. After enduring substantial financial losses and seeing two planned locations crumble, Fareed soured on franchising as a viable business investment. However, his perspective changed when he discovered Clean Juice.
Ahmed’s interest in Clean Juice was piqued when he met a friend for lunch at a Clean Juice location in Walnut Creek. He walked in, noticed the USDA-certified organic sign on the window, and was immediately drawn to the menu. Ahmed ordered more than he had initially planned to sample the diverse food and beverage offerings, and he was thoroughly impressed by the taste, presentation, and quality.
During his teenage years, Ahmed had worked at a popular juice bar, where customers frequently requested extra vitamin shots or wellness shots. In hindsight, he realized that many of these so-called nutrition drinks contained excessive added sugars. This realization further reinforced his appreciation for Clean Juice’s commitment to using all-natural, all-organic ingredients to create delicious juices, smoothies, acai bowls, and more – all without the unnecessary sugars and additives found in other juice bars.
Like many others, Ahmed began thinking more about health and wellness proactively after the pandemic. This included a focus on the nutritional value of the foods he consumed daily to support his body and metabolism. What remained constant was the scarcity of clean, organic fast-casual dining options. Fareed is enthusiastic about becoming a Clean Juice franchisee and bringing this high level of nutrition to the Roseville community.
Despite his previous negative franchise experience, Ahmed realized that Clean Juice was a worthwhile venture. He was impressed by the brand’s commitment to sourcing the highest-quality ingredients, many of which are sourced from California farms. He firmly believed in the brand, its philosophy, its core principles, and the products it offers to customers. Ahmed expressed pride in becoming a Clean Juice franchisee and highlighted the transparency of the brand, which aligns seamlessly with the health-conscious ethos of California.
Clean Juice continues to attract a consistent stream of interest from prospective franchisees, both existing and new, who are eager to bring healthy, organic fast-casual dining options to their communities. Since embarking on its franchising journey in 2016, Clean Juice has expanded to over 200 store units.
