Maneuverability is enhanced with a turning radius that is 17% tighter than the previous model year, making narrow roadways easier to navigate. The GEM eL XD now boasts a six-foot tighter turning radius than competitor work trucks, making it perfect for deliveries, maintenance, and property management.
The in-cab experience has also been revamped, featuring a new dashboard, display gauge, key switch, FNR switch, hazard flashers, and windshield wiper. Optional automatic daytime running lights and a new power-off switch for maintenance add to the overall convenience.
Innovations continue with increased charging flexibility and new Li-ion options. All 2024 GEM batteries are maintenance-free, and drivers can choose from two new AGM battery packages for extended range or two new Li-ion battery packages offering up to 113 miles of range for high-demand applications.
The GEM vehicles’ design and style have also been elevated, boasting seven gloss-finish exterior colors, new badges, front fascia design, and updated seats for improved comfort. Premium finishes include a panoramic sky roof, sports wheels, low glow feature lighting, and vegan leather seats for personalization.
