Abre Joins the Google for Education Partner Program to Further Advance Its Platform, Connected Apps to Schools
Rolls Up Under Google Cloud Education’s Technology Track
School management platform provider Abre.io announced today it has become a partner in the Google for Education Partner Program. The program will help further advance the Abre platform that delivers a growing number of connected apps providing functionality for learning and data management, HR, student conduct and personalized student plan management, to name a few.
“The Abre platform is tightly integrated with Google for Education tools,” said Abre Co-Founder and Vice President of Product Chris Rose. “Whether from a hardware, applications or web services standpoint, Google Cloud is a growing leader in the Edtech space. When we developed Abre it was our intention to extend the capabilities of Google Classroom. This relationship allows us to continue that so our customers will benefit.”
The Google for Education Technology Track is for Google for Education Partners who provide their own product offerings that complement, enhance or extend the reach or functionality of Google for Education products, including the integration of Google for Education products into their own offerings. Abre’s platform is built with interoperability at the forefront. And as such is designed to seamlessly work with Google Cloud technology that educators use. Abre has also built extensions to be used with Chromebooks in the Guided Learning app. This enables a locked down browser so students can securely take quizzes and tests in Abre’s Assessment app.
“With our open platform and our complimentary app lineup, it made sense to have a closer relationship with Google Cloud from a technological standpoint,” said Damon Ragusa, Abre CEO. “We want to continually extend our platform to allow Google for Education users even more functionality with software that looks and feels the same. This saves teacher’s time so they can focus on students, not technology.”
