Jacqueline Saturn has been promoted to President of Caroline – the Independent Distribution & Label Services arm of Capitol Music Group (CMG) – it was announced today by CMG Chief Operating Officer Michelle Jubelirer, to whom Saturn reports.  In her elevated position, Saturn will continue to lead Caroline’s 50-person U.S. team and oversee all aspects of its business, including artist and label signings and partnerships, as well as strategic planning and alliances with Caroline International’s 11 offices outside the U.S.  She will also continue to head CMG’s Harvest Records, having signed and developed a host of successful emerging artists at that label.  Saturn is based in Hollywood in the iconic Capitol Tower.

According to CMG Chairman & CEO Steve Barnett, “Jacqueline is a dynamic executive who brings a wealth of experience and tireless dedication to helping Caroline’s partners achieve and exceed their goals.  Under her leadership, Caroline has become internationally renowned as the place to be for artists and labels spanning many genres who want to remain independent but be able to draw upon the skills, hard work and clout that Jacqueline and her team have to offer.  I congratulate Jacqueline on her well-deserved promotion to President of Caroline.”

Saturn said, “I am so proud of all we have accomplished at Caroline over the past year.  In my expanded role, I will continue to lead this bright and ambitious team that I work with every day to even greater success.  I am honored to walk into this iconic building every day and work to achieve what we envisioned for Caroline when I became GM several years ago.  We are lucky to work with the most dedicated and dynamic label partners and artists in the business, and I am inspired by them daily.  I thank Michelle and Steve for believing in me and helping Caroline to reach its goals that we have set together.”

Under Saturn’s leadership, Caroline has attained numerous achievements over the past 12 months that have resulted in a doubling of its U.S. market share to more than 3.00%.  These include three #1 Billboard Top 200 debuts with rapper NF (Perception), rap trio Migos (Culture II) and  XXXTentacion (?), as well as an additional four Top 5 Billboard Top 200 debuts from rap duo Huncho Jack (Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho) and rappers 6ix9ine (Day69), Lil Baby (Harder Than Ever) and Trippie Redd (Life’s A Trip).  Caroline also scored with 63 entries across the Billboard Hot 100, with 10 of those in the Top 20, plus 10 albums on the Billboard Hip-Hop Chart.  This past year has also seen Caroline achieve 14 platinum and 17 gold single certifications.

At Harvest, Saturn has achieved recent success with a host of alternative-leaning artists that she has signed and developed with her team.  These include The Glass Animals, whose two albums have been streamed worldwide more than 1.5 billion times; Banks, whose two album both debuted in the Top 20 of Billboard’s Top 200 chart and worldwide streaming totals exceed one billion; and Donna Missal, a developing artist whose 20 million worldwide streams precede the September 7 release of her debut album, This Time.

Caroline offers a full range of services for its portfolio of artist and label partners and their releases, including Marketing, Promotion, Commercial Services, Branding, Synch & Licensing, Lifestyle Marketing, Business Affairs and Finance, as well as develops and broadens myriad revenue streams for its partners.

Jacqueline Saturn maintains involvement in many charitable organizations, including FORCE (Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered), Friendship Circle of Los Angeles, GTWG (Girls Today Women Tomorrow) and has run the New York City Marathon on the American Cancer Society’s “Determination” team.  She speaks yearly at the Syracuse University Music program through the Bandier School of Music.  Saturn is the married mother of two daughters and one chihuahua.
