New Chaos Features Extreme Upside Down Hang-Time

La Ronde, Quebec’s leading destination for thrills and family entertainment, will introduce a new giant loop roller coaster, Chaos, for the 2019 season. Chaos offers a pure adrenaline rush as riders go forward, backward and upside down for unprecedented hang-time. This newest ride joins an already impressive lineup of groundbreaking rides and attractions.
“We are committed to offering thrills for all ages with the most innovative rides and attractions in the industry,” said Park President Janine Durette. “The forward and backward motion of this ride along with the inverted hang-time at 70 feet in the air delivers a unique and exhilarating roller coaster experience.”
Chaos features a single 7-story loop that swings riders back and forth, higher and higher before soaring through multiple heart-pounding revolutions. The coaster changes directions halfway through the ride cycle; leaving riders suspended upside down at the top of the loop for even more intense thrills.
Chaos is an extreme thrill ride featuring:
- 24 riders sitting in unique face-to-face seating positions;
- A pendulum style takeoff with multiple 360⁰ revolutions around the 7-story loop; and
- An additional 360⁰ revolution when the train reverses mid-course.

La Ronde is also announcing the start of 2019 Season Pass sales with its special Flash Sale through Labor Day weekend featuring the best deal of the year — savings up to 70% off on a 2019 Pass.
August 30 through September 3, guests will receive a free upgrade to a Gold Season Pass with the purchase of two Season Passes or more. Gold Season Passes include admission to La Ronde and any other Six Flags theme park, as well as free parking, a free sport bottle, free tickets and special offers for friends.
Season Passes provide unlimited visits for the rest of the 2018 season (including park admission to Fright Fest®) plus all of 2019. Pass holders can also receive a free upgrade to Premium when they purchase a Deluxe Season Dining Pass. The Premium Season Dining pass includes a lunch, dinner, and snack during every park visit, plus they will receive a 2019 All Season Sport Bottle for unlimited free drink refills. Premium Season Dining Passes may be used at any Six Flags theme park.
