The anthem is now available on all major music distribution platforms
Abaca Group Inc. and world-renowned composer and pianist Steve Barakatt are pleased to announce that “One More Heart, One More Dream – The Official Anthem of Saemangeum” was released worldwide today.
The anthem performed by Steve Barakatt on piano and the Korean Pops Orchestra also features the daegeum, a traditional Korean instrument. The musical work was commissioned by the Korea Agency for Saemangeum Development and Investment (KASDI) to promote development of the megacity where the world’s largest seawall was built.
“I am honored to release a musical work aimed at giving powerful momentum to a very meaningful initiative,” said Steve Barakatt. “The anthem invites the world to join a new city with full hearts and many dreams so Saemangeum can prosper in all areas of humanity.”
Steve Barakatt, accompanied by the Korean Pops Orchestra, will perform the live premiere of the anthem on September 8, 2018, during Barakatt’s upcoming concert at Lotte Concert Hall in Seoul.
Over the next few months, several TV networks will broadcast a documentary film shot both in South Korea and Canada highlighting the entire composition and music production process.
For his passion and unstinting support for Saemangeum, Steve Barakatt was awarded a Plaque of Appreciation last year by Nak Yon Lee, Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea.
