Valentina Ferrer Joins Glasswing International’s Board of Directors to Expand Educational and Mental Health Initiatives
Glasswing International, a nonprofit dedicated to education, mental health, and community development, proudly welcomes Valentina Ferrer to its Board of Directors. A passionate advocate for youth empowerment, Ferrer has been actively involved with Glasswing as a student mentor in New York City, inspiring young minds through experiential learning and mentorship.
A Champion for Youth & Education
Originally from Córdoba, Argentina, Ferrer first gained international recognition as Miss Argentina 2014, later representing her country at Miss Universe. She has since built a successful modeling career, collaborating with top brands such as ALO Yoga, Chloe, Hugo Boss, Nike, Michael Kors, Agua Bendita, and Ralph Lauren. Beyond fashion, Ferrer is a dedicated entrepreneur, co-founding KAPOWDER, a wellness brand offering vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free, and GMO-free supplements with ethically sourced ingredients.
Commitment to Community Impact
Through her mentorship with Glasswing, Ferrer helps high school students develop essential life skills, including resilience, empathy, and a growth mindset, while boosting their confidence and engagement in education. Her deep commitment to social impact was further recognized at the 10th Annual Glasswing Gala in 2024, where she was honored for her contributions. During the event, she announced plans to support educational initiatives in Colombia in collaboration with J Balvin’s Vibra en Alta Foundation, with support from I AM I World.
“Working with Glasswing students has been a life-changing experience,” said Ferrer. “Each of their stories inspires me, and I’m honored to contribute to their growth. Joining the Board allows me to further support Glasswing’s mission in New York and across Latin America.”
A Vision for a Brighter Future
Glasswing International’s co-founder and president, Celina de Sola, expressed enthusiasm about Ferrer’s appointment: “Valentina brings a fresh perspective and a strong commitment to uplifting communities. Her passion and vision will help us expand our reach and impact even more young people globally.”
