Jordan Watson Returns to Alsana as CEO, Plans for Virtual Growth
Jordan Watson has rejoined Alsana as Chief Executive Officer, marking his return to the organization where he previously served for five years as Chief Growth Officer. With 15 years of experience in the eating disorder treatment industry and a history of board advisory roles across healthcare services, Watson brings a wealth of expertise and a renewed vision for Alsana’s future.
“I’m honored to return to Alsana and work alongside a dedicated team committed to helping those affected by eating disorders,” said Watson. “Alsana’s mission of fostering an eating recovery community where individuals can heal through relationships and rediscover a fulfilling life resonates deeply with me. I will work tirelessly to maintain high treatment standards, positive client experiences, and strong collaboration with our referring providers.”
During his tenure as Chief Growth Officer from 2017 to 2022, Watson played a pivotal role in shaping the Alsana brand, establishing growth strategies, and expanding service offerings. His prior leadership experience includes roles at several national eating disorder treatment organizations. He also served on the boards of two non-profit eating disorder organizations and acted as an external advisor for various behavioral health and safety-focused companies. Watson’s early career experience in direct patient care continues to fuel his passion for supporting individuals affected by eating disorders.
“It’s a pleasure to welcome Jordan back to Alsana,” said Jessica Harris, LMFT, CEDS-S, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Clinical Officer. “His leadership is grounded in a commitment to both growth and excellence in care. I have always seen him as a leader who prioritizes clinical teams and drives efforts to reach those in need. His vision is especially valuable as the field seeks clear, forward-thinking leadership.”
Watson’s return signals a strategic focus on enhancing virtual treatment options through Alsana Connect, the company’s virtual care program. He aims to expand these services to increase accessibility and meet the growing demand for eating disorder treatment.
“Virtual treatment is a vital entry point for those beginning their recovery journey and a valuable step-down option for clients transitioning from higher levels of care,” Watson explained. “It improves accessibility and broadens our reach, while also enabling us to attract top talent nationwide. We are committed to expanding our current adult virtual programs and launching new ones to serve additional populations.”
