The Air France-KLM group is delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs. Femke Kroese as the General Manager for South East Asia & Oceania.
In her new role, Mrs. Kroese will oversee the commercial passenger sales and flight operations of both Air France and KLM across the South East Asia & Oceania region, which includes Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Australia, and New Zealand. Her base of operations will be in Singapore at the South East Asia & Oceania regional office. Expressing her enthusiasm for her new responsibilities, Mrs. Kroese remarked, “I am thrilled to have relocated to this captivating and diverse region with my family. I eagerly anticipate building upon the outstanding work accomplished by our teams over the years, engaging with our valued customers, and collaborating closely with numerous partners to explore new opportunities and synergies. Our goal is to provide both existing and new Air France and KLM customers with an even wider array of choices, improved connectivity, and an exceptional, seamless, and memorable travel experience, all while embracing sustainability.”
Femke Kroese
Before assuming her role as General Manager for South East Asia & Oceania, Mrs. Kroese served as the Commercial Director for the United Kingdom and Ireland at Air France KLM.
Her journey with KLM commenced in 2002, during which she held various positions within the Air France KLM group, encompassing Sales, Pricing Revenue Management, and other Commercial roles. These roles took her to diverse locations, including the Netherlands, France, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
In 2002, Mrs. Kroese earned her degree from the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom and the Amsterdam School of Business in the Netherlands. These esteemed business schools conducted a double degree exchange program under the ‘Erasmus program.’
