LG Electronics USA, Inc. and the Tennessee Titans have jointly announced the eagerly awaited return of their collaborative original content series, “Taste of Tennessee” for its second season, highlighting the essence of community, culinary excellence, and optimism across the Volunteer State.
Season 2, set to premiere on September 17, chronicles the captivating journeys of four remarkable Tennessee-based restaurateurs and chefs who are using the power of gastronomy to spread positivity in their communities in Nashville, Memphis, Maryville, and the surrounding regions. This exciting new season will be available for on-demand streaming through LG Channels, LG’s free streaming service on LG Smart TVs, and through ad-supported viewing on Hungry, accessible across multiple platforms, including LG Channels.
The charismatic local BBQ expert and author, Matt Moore, is returning as the host for “Taste of Tennessee” Season 2, embarking on a statewide adventure to showcase the flavors and inspirations that define Tennessee’s finest culinary experiences.
Here’s a glimpse of what to expect in each episode of Season 2:
– Episode 1: This episode unfolds against the picturesque backdrop of Nashville’s Juniper Green and features founder Molly Martin, uniting all the season’s chefs and guests to spotlight the distinctive qualities of Tennessee cuisine and the diverse local and global influences that shape it.
– Episode 2: Focusing on Nashville-based Otaku Ramen and its owner Sarah Gavigan, Episode 2 delves into the culinary connections that transcend cultures and bring communities together. Former Titans’ player Keith Bulluck and coach Dave “Coach Mac” McGinnis join in to share their insights.
– Episode 3: Centered around Memphis-based Plant Based Heat and owner Ralph “RJ” Johnson, Episode 3 explores the interplay between family, community, and health. Expect cameo appearances from Titans alum Jevon Kearse and the CEO of Roar Nashville, Marcia Musalla.
– Episode 4: Closing out Season 2, Episode 4 shines a spotlight on East Tennessee’s RT Lodge and its executive chef Trevor Stockton, renowned for crafting dishes inspired by the region and sourced from local ingredients. Featured guests include Mike Keith, the voice of the Titans, and Titans alum Dr. Kevin Dyson.
